Covid-19 Important Info
Should we have to take precautions again due to Covid, the following will apply:-
Drop off and collections - done ONLY at the cattery entrance gates (by the office) to ensure social distancing measures can be put into place. Please only come to the gates if there is no other customer waiting. If you can see someone else already being attended to, please wait in your car in the car park until they have had chance to leave.
Appointment times - please arrange with us a suitable appointment time to drop off/collect your cat. We will try and accommodate your best time or as near as possible. Again, if you see anyone at the gates being attended to, please wait in car park.
PPE - Currently, all our face-to-face interactions will be conducted outside. However, it is preferable that you please remember your face covering - we are still discovering new things about Covid-19 and how it spreads. We will not be encouraging anyone to stand and chat at this time for obvious reasons especially as the cat will want to be taken out of it's carry-box, or we may have someone waiting in their car to drop off their cat also.
Feeding/Other Info - We already know what your cats have eaten in the past as we make lots of notes - and unless you tell us otherwise, will offer the same types of food. Please ensure we have all the info we need when you leave your cat with us.
Critical Info - Please provide us with another emergency contact other than yourselves, should anything happen during the current pandemic situation. Especially important if you have booked a lengthy stay, more than just a few days or a week.
Care of Your Cat - We will wipe your cat down with a disposable damp cloth upon arrival as per Council's current Covid-19 legislation (and pat them dry with clean, dry cloth). During their stay, we will be sanitising and washing our hands before interaction with each individual or pen of cats (from same household). Our pens are fully cleaned between occupancies using a strong disinfectant recommended by DEFRA. All our feeding and drink bowls are stainless steel and disinfected daily.
Payments - Unless absolutely unavoidable, we prefer not to handle any cash at this time. Payment preferred is either by cheque or on-line bacs payment. "West Grove Cattery" 09-01-29, 07771569. We will tell you before you leave your cats with us, how much that will be. Thank you.
Social Distancing - Please do not come to the cattery gates to drop off your cat/s if you have a cough or any other symptoms of Covd-19. If you think your cough is for any other reason, ie allergies, then please ensure you are wearing a suitable mask/face covering. Please remember to leave a minimum of six feet between us when chatting or interacting. We will be doing this for you too. Thank you.
As always, all cats staying at West Grove are boarded at owner's own risk.
